On this page, you'll find any Mac OSX applications that I feel are ready for general consumption.
Note: The software on this page has been compiled and tested on Jaguar 10.2 (specifically 10.2.3), unless otherwise specified, and may not work at all on earlier versions of OSX. All the disk images provided here included a precompiled binary, as well as full source code for Apple's ProjectBuilder 2.0. All packages are provided without any warranty, explicit or implied.
This Cocoa frontend-only, requires the commercial CiscoVPN command-line client be installed on your machine already. I suggest you test the client with the command-line, and then use this tool to manage your VPN connection in a GUI window with some niceties like a connect timer and friendly UI.
Note: I've heard that the new Cisco commercial client includes its own frontend, which is likely more complete than this. If you don't yet have access to it (like me), then this one should suffice.
Note 2: I no longer have access to a corporate Cisco VPN server. Therefore, I can't continue to test this tool. The last known good setup was with OSX 10.2.2 and Cisco VPN Client 3.6.1. If there is an interest, feel free to email me (will at koffel dot org), and if you'd like to take over this code, I'll put a link back to your site from this page.
Note 3: 5 years later...Gonzalo C. has let me know that this software still works in some capacity at least. He patched the main NIB file for better resizing. Rather than repackage everything without being able to properly test, I've made his updated NIB available here along with this still ancient download. As always, this is open source, unsupported, use-at-your-own risk. But thanks for the heads up Gonzalo!
